Once you walk through the carved wooden gates (actually made out of Bali temple doors) you’ll experience the breathtaking serenity of Villa Dao. Villa Dao is stylishly appointed in a Bali style with western features and comforts. Nature is the predominant force here – everything is focused on the gardens and swimming pool. Being located close to Klong Khong beach, Villa Dao is very convenient for a good number of beachside restaurants and bars – only 500m away. For more choice you could head to Long Beach (4km north) where the road and the beach areas have a larger selection. Klong Khong road is home to many good Thai food stalls if you want to try some authentic local food at bargain prices!

For daytime activities, the management can book any trip you wish – snorkeling, diving, kayaking, island tours, elephant trekking and more. The operators run a convenient service picking you up from the villa and dropping you off after. You can also rent a car or scooter here for a good price.

Nearby attractions to visit by yourself include orchid and butterfly farms, elephant trekking, Klong Khong Beach, Long Beach, Klong Nin beach, plus the Mai Keow Cave.
