Set majestically in 2.5 hectares of lush tropical garden in Phuket, the luxurious Xi’an Villa evokes images of Xi’an, one of China’s oldest cities. The villa is designed in a loft-style with large rooms and high ceilings inspiring a feeling of grandeur airiness. Green plants and trees are part of the positive feng shui energy creating a symbiosis between the indoor and outdoor living spaces.
On entering the villa, you follow a natural garden surrounded by trees and interspersed with water features providing soothing sounds as you near the house. Expansive wooden decks and space in each room, combined with a black and red colour scheme throughout, reminiscent of Chinese lacquerware, create a unique environment and feeling of peacefulness.
The all-glass walls of each and every room accentuate the harmony and light between the indoor and outdoor areas, with the natural vegetation providing a privacy. The large infinity lap pool, guarded by life size terracotta standing warriors, and the 2 additional platforms bring a feeling of continuity and seamlessly blend with the tropical garden. The well maintained garden is blessed with a large number of indigenous fruit trees with rambutans, durians and coconuts available in season.
The Great Room: As you enter the main central pavilion, your attention is immediately captured by this Great Room, decorated with stunning contemporary and traditional Asian artwork. With 280sqm, the sense of space is enhanced by a huge, comfortable sofa, a large pool table and a generous dining area adjoining the open modern kitchen.
Suites: Each of the six large bedrooms are aptly named as they have unique colour schemes with matching soft furnishings and decor. From plain wooden floorboards to bamboo fibre sheets, only natural and organic materials are used to for sustainability and to be environmentally friendly while enhancing the overall relaxing effect. All the bedrooms feature their own spacious bathrooms fitted with all amenities.
Outdoors appeal: Unique in its design, The Xi'an Villa features a 3 level deck covering 360 sqm and overlooking the tropical garden, allowing every guest to create their own cluster of privacy or gather for meals and entertainment. The living area, leads to the 26m infinity pool with its large lounging sofa, ideal for socializing and relaxing. A sail-like canopy provides coverage from the sun while two large Chinese sculptures stand on guard beside. Moving down a level is the spacious BBQ area which seats 16 guests comfortably surrounded by the tropical foliage. Large umbrellas provide protection against the blazing sun for day time BBQ. On the third level, four large loungers, in the style of opium beds provide the ideal location to sun bathe or simply chilling at night while sipping a glass of wine.
Dining in style: Villa guests have the option to dine indoors with a long table seating 12 next to the modern open kitchen or dine al fresco on the outdoor deck, under the starlit sky.
Villa Xi’an is the perfect location for a family reunion, friends’ get-together, weddings or any other special event.
The villa has its own covered massage sala which can accommodate 2 persons. Each bed overlooks the tropical forest with its variety of palms, fields and a big pond. A large selection of natural oils are available to enhance one's experience with professional therapists on site.
An expansive office is placed at the entrance of the villa fitted with 2 tables, a computer with a printer. The Barcelona chairs and open view to the garden provide an alternative, inspiring and quiet place for one to be creative and focused.
