This delightful and secluded Koh Samui villa offers the chance of the holiday of a lifetime in the tropics. As its name suggests, you can hideaway here and relax around your own private oblong pool, or head out and enjoy the beach some 150 metres away through palm plantations and enjoy nature at its best.
Enter Samui Retreat villa through a large garage with doors for added security, and admire the enclosed pool, deck, terrace, and lotus pond before crossing the water with fish and turtles swimming around and enter the modern but traditional living area. Maybe sit a while, gazing out to the wrap-around pond, and pool in the centre of the high-walled courtyard, or get straight out there on one of the four sun loungers, take a dip and shower off in the poolside shower. Skyward ancient palm trees add to your tropical view.
The bedrooms are located in their own buildings, each with their own unique character and both have air-conditioning with ceiling fans. The upstairs bedroom has a king size bed with large feature headboard, built-in wardrobe and dressing table with mirror. The other bedroom downstairs overlooks the patio and pool, with a king size bed, and corner dressing table with a mirror. There are two large built-in wardrobes with a safe.
The upstairs ensuite has a shower area with eye-level views of mature coconut groves, an oblong basin and WC with slow-closing lid. The downstairs bedroom leads through to a shower room with a toilet and a separate room with a stone bath with bath taps and a held shower hose for hair washing.
Ceiling fans in the kitchen and dining room keep everyone cool during meal times. The dining room has a built-in oblong dining table with four wicker chairs and a high chair is available, or you may wish to pass through the sliding patio doors and dine around a circular table with four more matching chairs in the open sided living room.
A well-designed kitchen has all you will require for cooking in paradise. A large fridge with freezer below, microwave, blender, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster is completed with all the usual cooking utensils. There is combination 2-burner gas hob suitable for wok cooking, and a single electric ring, all with extractor above. Windows with views of the tropical garden plants from the sink add pleasure to you holiday culinary activities.
The living room is open sided with three sofas, large glass-topped coffee table, and a 42†plasma TV that has satellite including major sports channels and home theatre DVD. Wooden floors and ceilings lend a traditional feel. With no windows or doors to close, the gentle sea breezes and ceiling fans add to the tropical ambience.
