One of the three villas of villas Sri, Villa Sagara is located about ten minutes away from Bentota and Kosgoda beaches, in the charming town of Induruwa. Quaint village home dot the coastline interspersed by hotels and resorts. A stay in the villa gives you access to both seclusion and activities. Outside the villa you can go cruising on the Bentota river, visit the two private gardens of Brief and Lunuganga, or indulge in water sports at Bentota, which enjoys the reputation of being the water sports capital of Sri Lanka.
Description
Sagara is part of the Sri Villa complex of 3 villas that can be rented as a whole or individually. Overlooking the sea, the villa has three bedrooms, private dining, living and lounging areas and a garden that leads directly to the beach. The accommodation features tropical design with tall folding doors, high louvered panels, antique furnishings and all modern comforts. Discrete staff takes care of the daily chores so that guests have a relaxed, worry-free holiday experience.
Bedrooms
The first floor of Sagara villa houses two almost identical suites sharing a comfortably furnished balcony with spectacular views of the beach and sea. These suite feature double beds covered with mosquito nets, a rattan luggage rack and windows overlooking either the pool or side garden. Both suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, built-in wardrobes and ensuite bathrooms with stone sinks and tropical showers. The ground floor houses the third bedroom, almost identical in size and furnishing. Breezy louvered doors open onto a sea-view veranda. All the three bedrooms are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans.
Living areas
The living area on the ground floor of Sagara villa includes an open-plan living and dining area which is furnished with a mix of colonial and modern lounge seating. The dining area features a dining table to seat eight and is privately located towards the rear. Glass doors open onto a terrace that surrounds the swimming pool. Overlooking the garden is the a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, oven and other modern gadgets.
